MELKART is situated in the historical part of Cádiz,
the most southern capital of Andalusia. If you want to learn
Spanish in a town surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean,Cádiz
is the right place. In a typical Andalusian atmosphere you
will be greeted by a team of qualified and experienced spanish
teachers who all share one great passion: their love for Spain
and Spanish language. Born out of the enthusiasm for teaching
Spanish to people from different countries we provide lessons
in a familiar and friendly atmosphere, which we consider as
very important for efficient learning.

Spanish culture and society, Latin-American literature studies,
Business Spanish, Preparation for D.E.L.E. exams, private
spanish lessons (one to one).
(At the end of the course you will receive an official certificate
stating the duration and level of your spanish course. The
teaching material is included in the course price.)
Our classes:
A maximum of 7 students per class.
Out of school activities: The
best way of learning Spanish is to understand the way of living
and the culture of Spanish people. For this reason we have
prepared these activities consisting of visits to surrounding
areas, barbecues on the beach and in our roof garden, discussions
about history, political events and the culture of Spain,
and of course, we get to know the famous Spanish kitchen...
Our Tandems (linguistic
exchange): these regular meetings between our students
and native spanish speakers help them to make use of what
they have been learning in class and are one the best opportunities
to improve their Spanish and to integrate into a Spanish way
of life.
Our accommodation: completely
furnished flats with kitchen, bathroom, TV, bed linen, washing
machine. (You only need to bring your own towels.)
Our town: Cádiz is not
only the oldest city in Europe, it also offers a variety of
beautiful beaches with fine, white sand and plenty of sun.
During the hot Andalusian, you will appreciate its milder
climate thanks to its proximity to the sea.
Oh! We nearly forgot to explain the origin of the name MELKART.
It is the Phoenician name of Hercules, the founder of Cádiz.
